I feel honored to welcome you all to NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute, Silvassa, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu. This medical college has been developed under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Our college has an infrastructure of global standard with ‘’state of art’’ classrooms & central library having conducive & ICT (Information, Communication, and Technology) enabled environment with Wi-Fi enabled campus. The hostels are provided with all facilities to make a student ‘’a home away from home’’. They can relish & enjoy swimming pool, excellent Gymnasium & various facilities at playground. The teaching hospital attached to medical college was named after visionary & legendary Shree Vinoba Bhave with merely 45 beds & now has increased to 675 bedded multispecialty hospital and further planning to upgrade to 1250 bedded hospital. This hospital has an aim to serve & reach poorest of poor with all medical & health facilities under one roof including super specialty. The hospital is equipped with blood bank facilities, Intensive Care facilities, modular operation theatre facilities, and 24X7 emergency & pharmacy services for all indoor & outdoor patients. Our mission is to produce competent, compassionate, professionally excellent, ethically sound Indian Medical Graduates on par with International standards through excellence in learner centric teaching & training, patient care, need based and translational medical research; community based medical education with holistic development & problem solving abilities.
