Vision

The department of biochemistry at Govt. Medical College, Silvassa is dedicated to maintaining a reputation as an exemplary basic medical sciences department on the basis of the teaching, interdisciplinary research and clinical laboratory services.

The Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory provides an extensive range of routine and specialized testing services for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment to all Medical, Surgical patients. It offers a full array of laboratory services, provided by a team of highly skilled technical staff under the supervision of well-trained Medical faculty. It aims to deliver excellent, cost-effective and evidence-based patient care, within a clinically relevant turnaround time.

Our Quality Assurance Program, both Internal (BioRad) and External (CMC EQAS) is designed to monitor every step in the testing process for maintaining accuracy and Precision of the results.

The department has latest state-of-the-art equipment with backups which provides, 24 x 7 round the clock service. A complete automated system from bar coding to bilateral interfacing of results helps in minimizing transcription errors.

Our endeavour of continuous Quality Improvement Programs coupled with extensive trainings helps us in delivering our best.
