Vision
Human Anatomy is a subject of first year MBBS. It deals with the structural organization of human body. Our prime motto is at the end of the year student should be able to:

Comprehend the normal disposition, clinically relevant inter-relationship, functional and cross sectional anatomy of the various structures in the body. Identify and locate all the structures of the body and mark the topography of the living anatomy.

Identify the microscopic structure and correlate elementary infrastructures of various organs and tissue.

Comprehend the basic structure and connection of the central nervous system.

Demonstrate the knowledge of the basic principles and sequential development of the organs and systems; recognize the critical stages of development and their developmental anomalies.

Understand clinical basis of some common clinical procedures. e.g. intramuscular and intravenous injection, lumbar puncture, kidney biopsy etc.
Misson
Department of human anatomy is having well equipped dissection hall, histology laboratory, museum containing various specimens and models of human body parts. Two demonstration rooms are there to facilitate the learning of the students having latest audio-visual aids.
Our Department with due respect accept the dead body donation from the noble people of the society. Received cadavers are used for dissection by the First Year MBBS students. We also welcome the school students to visit our excellent Anatomy museum and to be amazed by watching dissected specimens of human body, God’s unimaginable creation.
